On the heels of his eighth and final season as Artistic Director of the Aldeburgh Festival, Pierre-Laurent Aimard returns to Styriarte, the annual music festival in Graz, Austria, for an evening of Beethoven sonatas in Helmut List Halle on Thursday, July 14. The Sonata No. 23 in F Minor, “Appassionata” is bookended by the Sonata No. 7 in D Major and the Sonata No. 31 in A flat Major.
