Pierre-Laurent Aimard travels to Japan to join the Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra this March.

On March 19, Pierre-Laurent and the orchestra perform Messiaen’s Sept haïkaï, with conductor Sylvain Cambreling. The program also hears works by Varèse, Scelsi, and Grisey.

Several days later, on March 23 & 24, Pierre-Laurent performs Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto in C minor at Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre.
