Pierre-Laurent Aimard and François-Xavier Roth team up this fall for Bartók’s First Piano Concerto with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, following their concerts together with the Berliner Philharmoniker (Oct 24-26) and the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal (Oct 30-31). They appear on November 14 & 15.

The two collaborate several more times over the 19-20 season. With the Gürzenich Orchestra and François-Xavier Roth, Pierre-Laurent tours Europe with their ‘New Academy Concerts’ series created in the spirit of Beethoven’s Academy soirées where the German showcased his compositions to the Viennese public (Feb 9-11, 16, 21, & 24). The two also reunite in the spring with the Orchestre de Paris (May 20-21).
