Pierre-Laurent appears in the northern German town of Hitzacker for an open-air concert on Saturday, August 6 in collaboration with Tonmeister Carsten Kümmel. The evening’s program at the Hitzacker Kurpark includes excerpts from Messiaen’s Catalogue d’oiseaux and J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I, plus works by Stockhausen, Sweelinck, Kurtág, and Daquin, and will be broadcast into the surrounding natural landscape in three-dimensional audio, combining with the sounds of nature.
