During the week of 27 October, Pierre-Laurent Aimard embarks on a return tour of Spain alongside long-time collaborators Isabelle Faust, Jean-Guihen Queyras, and Jörg Widmann. Hailed by The Guardian as ?“one of the best Messiaen interpreters around,” Aimard joins his colleagues for performances centred on Messiaen’s landmark Quatuor pour la fin du temps, complemented by works by Berg, Ravel, and Carter. The ensemble appears at Santander’s Palacio de Festivales (28 October) and Madrid’s Auditorio Nacional de Música (30 October).

This tour also offers a glimpse ahead to Aimard’s 2026 residency at Madrid’s Centro Nacional de Difusión Musical, where he will give additional solo recitals, workshops, and masterclasses.
