Pierre-Laurent Aimard embarks on a U.S. tour this fall of modern four-hands piano masterpieces with his regular recital partner, Tamara Stefanovich.

Their tour highlights the U.S. premiere of Keyboard Engine, a new work written for the duo by Sir Harrison Birtwistle. They also perform Bartók’s Seven Pieces from Mikrokosmos Ravel’s Sites auriculaires, and Messiaen’s Visions de l’Amen. 

Pierre-Laurent and Tamara commence their tour at New York’s Carnegie Hall on October 25. They perform at the Chicago Symphony Center (October 28), the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (October 30), and at Cal Performances (November 1).
