Pierre-Laurent continues his Vienna Symphony residency with Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No. 3 in C Minor, presenting concerts Wednesday, January 13 through Friday, January 15 at the Musikverein. Adrien Perruchon conducts in place of Chief Conductor Philippe Jordan, who unfortunately had to withdraw from this program. Bartók’s Divertimento for string orchestra and The Miraculous Mandarin round out each performance. Over the course of the 2015-16 season, Aimard presents a full cycle of Beethoven concertos at the Musikverein and Konzerthaus in a special collaboration between both halls.
