Pierre-Laurent Aimard joins Danish National Symphony Orchestra for Scriabin release on DG
Pierre-Laurent Aimard features on Scriabin: Orchestral Works, the latest release from the Danish National Symphony Orchestra and Chief Conductor Fabio Luisi, out digitally on 24 October 2025 via Deutsche Grammophon.
Recorded live at Copenhagen’s DR Koncerthuset, Aimard performs Prométhée, le Poème du feu, Scriabin’s visionary fifth symphony, which calls for solo piano, chorus and a “colour organ” – realised in this production through a striking visual design. The album also includes the Piano Concerto with Julius Asal, Le Poème de l’extase, Rêverie, and all five symphonies, with guest appearances from Ema Nikolovska, James Ley and the Danish National Concert Choir.
The release coincides with the DNSO’s centenary celebrations and continues its acclaimed partnership with Deutsche Grammophon.
