Pierre-Laurent Aimard returns to Book I of J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier in April with a three-city tour. He presents complete accounts at the Muziekgebouw Eindhoven in the Netherlands on April 22 and Moscow’s Tchaikovsky Concert Hall on April 28. At the Welser Stadttheater Hotel Greif in Wels, Austria on April 24, excerpts from the Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I are complemented by Beethoven’s Piano Sonatas Nos. 31 and 32.

Following a period of intensive study of the Well-Tempered Clavier, Book I at the Wissenschaftskolleg zu Berlin (Berlin Institute for Advanced Studies) in 2014, Aimard released the series on Deutsche Grammophon accompanied by a worldwide tour.
